Waterproof neodymium magnets: rustproof & with scratch protection

The neodymium magnets in this group are completely encased in a rubber or plastic coating or even shrink-wrapped in a PVC sleeve. It provides them with the following advantages:

• These magnets are rustproof and can be used outdoors and in wet surroundings.
• The magnets can be washed if needed.
• The rubber layer significantly increases the magnetic adhesive force in shear direction.
• Delicate surfaces, such as whiteboards or magnetic glass boards, are well protected.

However, due to the rubber or plastic coating, the maximum adhesive force of these magnets is slightly lower compared to similarly sized neodymium magnets without coating.
